Olivia Barrasso

Originally from South Florida, Olivia has called several places home, including New Mexico and Tennessee, before settling in North Carolina. After moving from Tennessee to North Carolina two years ago, she and her family now reside in Carthage, NC.

Olivia earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Pre-Law from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. Her career in the legal field began shortly after graduating high school in 2015, when she accepted her first position at a law firm in Stuart, Florida. Since then, she has continued to grow professionally within the legal industry, working her way from a law firm runner to a paralegal. She plans to continue her education by attending Campbell Law School.

Olivia began working in family law in 2021 and has found a true passion for helping clients navigate some of the most challenging seasons of their lives. As a young mother who has experienced divorce herself, Olivia understands the family law process from both a professional and personal perspective. She knows firsthand the emotions, uncertainty, and frustrations that can accompany divorce and custody matters. Whether she is simply listening to a client’s story or helping them understand and navigate their next steps, Olivia finds purpose in providing compassionate and empathetic support when it is needed most.

Growing up in a large Italian family, Olivia learned from an early age just how important family is. Her family taught her the value of having people who stand beside you through the difficult moments and celebrate with you through the good ones. Becoming a mother to her two daughters has deepened that appreciation even further. Her daughters are her greatest motivation, and every step she takes toward achieving her goals is driven by her desire to show them that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and working in her gardens, where she grows both flowers and fruits and vegetables. She loves spending time outdoors with her daughters, whether hiking or visiting the park, and she is an avid reader of thriller fiction. And, of course, she is always up for some good old-fashioned reality television!
