Brittany Holmes

Brittany Holmes is a family law attorney, community leader, and proud South Carolina native. Originally from the small town of Hampton, South Carolina, Brittany now lives in Bluffton with her family. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina before receiving her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law.

Brittany began her legal career as a prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit for the Fourteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office, where she advocated for victims of serious crimes. In 2020, following the birth of her first son and during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, she founded her own law practice, focusing on family law and estate planning.

Although she initially envisioned a career in corporate law or as in-house counsel, Brittany discovered her passion for family law when the demand for family law attorneys surged during the pandemic. She quickly built a reputation for compassionate, client-centered representation and found fulfillment in helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most difficult transitions. She is committed to providing steady guidance and practical solutions while serving as a trusted advocate for her clients.

Beyond her legal practice, Brittany is dedicated to serving the legal profession and her community. She currently serves as the Fourteenth Circuit Representative for the South Carolina Bar's Young Lawyers Division, a role she considers one of the most rewarding experiences of her career. Through this leadership position, she mentors and supports young attorneys, builds connections across the state, and proudly represents the legal profession in her local community. As someone who did not grow up with lawyers as role models, Brittany is especially passionate about being a visible example of what is possible for future generations.

Family is the foundation of Brittany's life and the driving force behind both her personal and professional values. She believes in the power of unconditional love, unwavering support, and strong relationships. Those principles shape the way she serves her clients every day.

Outside the office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her two sons, cheering them on at their activities, volunteering at their school and sporting events, and creating memorable moments with her family. Whether she is practicing law or spending time with her boys, Brittany is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of those around her.
