Margaret Young
Blood Law approaches every case with one goal: the right resolution, without unnecessary litigation.
About
Margaret was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She earned her undergraduate degree from Winthrop University and her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
During law school, Margaret was actively involved in the Black Law Student Association (BLSA), the Women's Law Caucus, and served as Programs Director for both the NCCU School of Law Innocence Project Student Organization and the Hispanic Latin Law Student Association (HLLSA). Through her participation in the North Carolina Central University School of Law Family Law Clinic, she gained valuable hands-on experience assisting clients with family law matters and received the Book Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
Margaret chose to practice family law because she desires to help individuals and families navigate some of the most difficult and emotional periods of their lives. She is committed to providing compassionate guidance and practical solutions to help clients move forward with confidence and stability. Family is especially important to Margaret because she believes that having a strong support system is essential during life's challenges. She values the comfort, encouragement, and strength that family provides and strives to help preserve those important relationships whenever possible through her work.
In her free time, Margaret enjoys trying new restaurants, exercising, and spending time with her fiancé, Jayden, and their precious poodle, Remy.
