Kimberly Lentz
Blood Law approaches every case with one goal: the right resolution, without unnecessary litigation.
About
Kimberly is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and was raised in Shelby County, Tennessee. She has spent much of her legal career serving families throughout Tennessee. Kimberly graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in June 2004.
Early in her career, Kimberly began accepting court-appointed criminal cases and juvenile matters in Clarksville, Tennessee. Through this work, she developed extensive experience handling juvenile delinquency and dependent and neglect matters while serving as a “friend” of the Court. Working closely with children and families during some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives, she quickly saw how many of these matters intersected with domestic and family law issues. This experience ultimately led her to develop a practice focused on family law, allowing her to provide comprehensive legal support to families navigating challenging and often life-changing circumstances.
From 2014 to 2023, Kimberly practiced primarily family law in Shelby County and the greater Memphis area. She now lives in Franklin, Tennessee, where she has continued practicing primarily family law throughout Franklin and the surrounding Middle Tennessee counties for more than three years. In addition to family law, her practice has included residential contract and construction matters, as well as personal injury cases.
Family law remains especially meaningful to Kimberly because of the purpose behind the work. She believes that helping people understand and navigate the legal system during some of the most challenging moments of their lives is one of the most rewarding aspects of practicing law.
Outside of the office, travel has become one of Kimberly’s greatest passions. Paris is a particular favorite, and she is always looking forward to her next visit. She also enjoys playing golf when traveling domestically, cycling, and maintaining a daily gym routine. Staying active helps her remain focused and energized, both personally and professionally, so she can continue giving her best to her clients, friends, and family.
