About

Originally from and currently living in Monroe, North Carolina, Kayla is eager to begin her career in the legal field. Kayla is a recent graduate of Western Carolina University, where she earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice. While she was at WCU, she enjoyed a summer abroad where she studied in Italy and Greece.

Before entering the legal field, Kayla worked for several years at Halo Salon and Spa, where she gained valuable experience handling a variety of responsibilities and enjoyed building relationships with clients and coworkers alike.

Kayla chose to pursue family law because she comes from a divorced and blended family and understands firsthand how emotional and challenging the process can be. She hopes to help others navigate difficult family situations with greater ease, compassion, and support than she experienced herself. Family is especially important to her because she knows she would not be where she is today without their love and encouragement.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys sewing, spending time outdoors, shopping, and making memories with her family and friends.
