Michelle Della Fave is a recent law school graduate from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. Michelle was born and raised in New Jersey and is thrilled about her move to North Carolina. As a child of divorced parents, she is passionate about family law and understands the process that clients experience. Michelle also has experience with the foster care system, as she served as a guardian for her four cousins while she was in college, and her mother served as their foster mom.
After graduating from Stockton University in her home state and completing an internship with a family law judge, Michelle moved to Virginia to embark on her law school journey. During her time in law school, Michelle served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children. During Michelle’s second year of law school, Michelle placed second in the Intra-School Moot Court competition where she argued in front of various state Appellate Court judges and state Supreme Court judges. Thereafter, Michelle was selected to be a part of the National Moot Court Team.
Michelle’s experiences allow her to have a unique understanding of how difficult and stressful the family law process can be. Michelle is committed to being understanding and compassionate to each client she encounters.
During her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and Golden Retriever, relaxing by any body of water, trying new restaurants, and binge-watching Netflix or Hulu series.
