Genesis Gonzales

Genesis, originally from Mount Holly, North Carolina, now resides in Charlotte, where she enjoys the hustle and bustle of city life. She is a proud graduate of Belmont Abbey College, where she received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice with two minors: Pre-Law and Psychology. She then began her legal career at University of South Carolina School of Law. There, she was an Associate Justice of Internal Competition for the Moot Court. She has previously worked at two different law firms, where her love of family law began to blossom. Genesis chose to specialize in family law because it is an area she feels extremely passionate about and holds dear to her heart.

Being the youngest of three older sisters, she understands how close family support is pivotal for everyone. She is also extremely close with her parents, who have taught her so much valuable information that she carries with her day to day. Without her family, Genesis wouldn't be where she is today. Outside of work, Genesis enjoys reading, going to the movies, playing tennis, and, of course, spending precious moments with family and friends.
