Laura Thibeault

Laura is originally from Plainfield, Connecticut, and now calls Charlotte, North Carolina home. She earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked as a Paralegal at a construction litigation firm for two years and later as a Law Clerk at Bacardi, gaining valuable experience in both litigation and corporate law.

Laura chose to practice family law because it allows her to make a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives during some of their most challenging times. She is passionate about advocacy, compassion, and problem-solving—helping clients make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Family holds a special place in Laura's heart because they are the people who have seen her at her best and her worst. She truly appreciates their continued unconditional love and support. They remind Laura of who she is, how far she has come with their support, and what truly matters in life.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys taking fun, new workout classes, watching movies and reality TV, and trying out new coffee spots around the city and beyond.
