Brittney Slade

Brittney, a native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She furthered her education by earning her Juris Doctor and Master’s from Appalachian School of Law in the beautiful mountains of Grundy, Virginia. Brittney grew up in a close-knit family where her father, a Marine Veteran, instilled in her the values of dedication and loyalty. Her devoted mother taught her kindness and compassion. Family has always been at the heart of her life, which led her to pursue a career in family law—an area where she can make an impact on what matters most to her.

Brittney’s legal journey began in 2017 as a hardworking paralegal at a criminal defense law firm in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Next, Brittney continued with her legal career as an intern clerk in Iredell County Superior Court in Statesville, North Carolina. Before joining Blood Law, Brittney served as an Associate Attorney at a private criminal defense and family law firm in Roanoke, Virginia. There, she honed her legal skills by navigating complex cases, always focusing on protecting her clients' rights and futures with meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to their matter.

Brittney strives to ensure that her clients’ voices are heard, their rights are protected, and that they can move forward with a sense of peace and empowerment. She approaches each case with the belief that, even in the most difficult situations, there is a path to a brighter future. In her free time, Brittney enjoys traveling with her husband, playing tennis, and , of course, spending precious moments and making memories with her family.
