Betty Rivera

Betty is originally from Virginia and currently resides in Middlesex, North Carolina. She brings nearly a decade of legal experience to her role, with a background that spans multiple practice areas and jurisdictions. Betty began her legal career in Virginia, where she worked for five years handling family, criminal, and traffic matters. She then spent two years more as a family law paralegal in Virginia before relocating to North Carolina.

After moving to North Carolina, Betty expanded her experience as a paralegal by focusing on personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. While this experience strengthened her litigation skills, it ultimately reaffirmed where her true passion lies- family law. Betty is deeply committed to helping families navigate challenging situations and is especially focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients while always prioritizing the best interests of minors. 

Outside of work, Betty enjoys long walks in nature, especially around lakes and mountains. She loves spending time with her son and her two dogs, often taking them to the park to play soccer together. To Betty, time spent with family—whether outdoors or simply watching a series together—is the most meaningful and valuable time of all.
