Julie Flanagan’s very first job was in the Mecklenburg County Courthouse while still in high school. She completed the Trial Court Administrations Internship program while also working in their Family Court Office and Self-Serve Center for one year. Julie then began working towards her Paralegal Technology Degree at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Working full-time in a law office while going to school Julie took on a part-time job at a coffee shop that began her love for coffee and people and paperwork. Her skills flourished over this time and she began to work herself up the ranks at the coffee shop and was promoted to the management team after a short time. Her skillsets vary from latte art to drafting up legal paperwork all while doing both with ease and grace. After graduating from CPCC with her Paralegal degree she then worked in law offices in Charlotte, Julie loves advocating for people and helping them through the process of their cases to ensure clients are both comfortable and confident in their cases.
Every year, instead of a new year’s resolution, Julie likes to take on new hobbies. While there is no intention to master this new hobby, Julie enjoys spending time learning new things and expanding her knowledge.
