Briana Whitfield

Briana is a native of Macon. Georgia and now calls Charlotte, North Carolina home. As a first-generation attorney, Briana is passionate about advocacy and hands-on leadership in the community. She is a proud alumna of The University of South Carolina. She then attended Elon School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2024. There, Briana served as Co-President of First-Generation Society ensuring First Generation students had the necessary resources to be successful in law school, Academic Chair of BLSA (Black Law Student Association), Academic Fellow, Admissions Ambassador, and an Elon Mentor to incoming 1L students. 

Briana chose family law because she has always had a passion for people. She believes family law attorneys not only advocate and help clients navigate legal issues, but also ultimately have the privilege of having a hand in shaping the trajectory of a someone's life. Having been raised by a strong nuclear loving family who values education, strong character and hard-work, Briana recognizes the impact her family’s support has had on her and the impact familial support can have on others. 

In her free time, Briana enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching documentaries, playing with her pittie mix, Luna, and cheering on the Gamecocks in basketball.
