Rachael Beller, a graduate of the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, is eager to extend her expertise to families in North Carolina, addressing their diverse family law needs with unwavering dedication, empathy, and zealous advocacy.
During her tenure at law school, Rachael immersed herself in the Legal Clinic, where she adeptly managed numerous divorce, paternity, and estate planning cases. Her exemplary dedication and advocacy earned her the prestigious 2023 Clinical Legal Education Association's Outstanding Clinic Student Award. While Rachael explored various legal avenues during her internships with personal injury firms and prosecution offices, she discovered her profound affinity for Family Law—a domain where she could fervently advocate for and defend clients on a deeply personal level.
Originating from Columbus, Ohio, Rachael's journey towards championing the rights of North Carolinians commenced at Appalachian State University, where she earned degrees in Business Management and Marketing. Her engagement in initiatives combating domestic violence, recognized by the Clinton Global Foundation, and her collaboration with AEquitas in Washington, DC, to aid prosecutors nationwide on cases involving domestic violence, stalking, and human trafficking, underscore her commitment to social justice causes.
Rachael's multifaceted experiences equip her with a profound capacity to empathize with clients, discern their distinct needs, and ensure their voices resonate throughout legal proceedings. Rachael views Family Law as a uniquely rewarding field that facilitates direct interaction with clients. She finds profound fulfillment in guiding and assisting clients through every facet of their journey. Despite the initial overwhelm and vulnerability many clients experience, Rachael considers it a privilege to empower them to navigate their circumstances with resilience and determination.
Beyond her legal endeavors, Rachael finds solace in physical fitness at Burn Boot Camp, enjoys lakeside leisure, and indulges her passion for playing the violin.
